Morrowick Valley

PIXEL COLONY SIM · PC

Build a home for four settlers in a mysterious valley. Morrowick Valley is a single-player colony sim about organising work, caring for people and turning a fragile camp into a settlement that can survive winter.

WINDOWSGAMEPADSTEAM DECK PLANNED
THE COLONY

Build the settlement. Care for the people.

Lay out homes, farms, stores and workshops on a procedural map. Assign work priorities, manage resources and research new ways to keep the colony running. Your settlers do the work, but their needs, skills and relationships shape what gets done. A productive settlement is only a success if its people can live there.

Make the colony work

Connect gathering, farming, storage and crafting into a dependable routine. Set priorities, plan supply chains and solve shortages before they bring the settlement to a halt.

People, not production units

Your founders arrive with skills, personalities and shared histories. Watch their needs, make room for rest and follow relationships that can make life together easier — or harder.

A valley with a soul

Green fog creeping over the marsh, wolves calling in the dark, hares that glow like lanterns between the pines. Morrowick is beautiful — and not always kind.

Winter is coming

The first snow tests everything you have built. Full stores, warm clothes and a warm bed for every settler decide whether the colony sees the spring.

THE VALLEY

Five lands. Five moods.

Around the warm heart of the valley lie wilder places — each with its own light, its own weather and its own secrets. Venture out for what your workshops need, and come home with stories.

RESOURCES
RISK

Lantern hare

Glows softly at dusk as it hops between the pines. Leave it in peace and it will do the same for you.

PEACEFUL

Mire root

A knot of living roots that guards its patch of bog. Build too close and it will make its feelings very clear.

TERRITORIAL

Marsh wisp

A small light drifting above the water. No one knows what it is — and it doesn’t seem to care.

HARMLESS

Gloom wolf

The grey hunters of the Dreadwood. They roam in threes, call to one another at night and hear the ring of your axes from far away.

DANGEROUS

VEIL CHARMMoonglass, ember resin and a few strands of fibre. Wear it, and the valley’s watchers will notice you a little later.

THE WORLD OF MORROWICK

You are not the valley’s first inhabitants.

Beyond the first hearth lie mist-filled marshes, dark woods and cold hills. Lantern hares glow in the dusk; living roots guard the bog; wolves move through the forest. These places hold materials your settlement needs, but they do not exist for your convenience. Your colony’s story grows from the choices you make here: where to settle, when to venture out and who you bring home.

BEFORE THE FIRST SNOW

Will your colony see the spring?

Every season leads to winter. In autumn a letter arrives counting down the days and listing what is still missing. A colony that prepared greets the first snow with full stores and warm hearths; one that didn’t faces long, hungry nights. And the neighbours live through the same winter — friends may send help, rivals may choose this moment to strike.

Planned for Steam Deck

Morrowick Valley is in active development. Steam Deck adaptation is planned for release, including performance optimisation, comfortable controller input and a readable interface with elements sized and positioned for the handheld screen. Development testing is taking place on the developer’s own Steam Deck.

After release, we plan to request Valve’s Steam Deck compatibility review, with the goal of earning Steam Deck Verified status. The review schedule and final rating are determined by Valve; certification has not yet been awarded.
